Location: Remote - 2 days p/month in Sheffield
Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35) - 10 months initially w/ likely extensions
Rate: £550-600 p/day

About the Role:

We are looking for a Kubernetes Specialist / SME to join our client's team.

In this role, you'll be assisting with a big data transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and migrating a host of applications suites to a Kubernetes infrastructure environment.

Requirements:

  • Kubernetes implementation, Kubernetes-specific architecture, hands-on migration work, Kubernetes Security
  • Spark
  • S3 Engine
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • CI/CD
  • Hadoop
  • Linux / RHEL - on prem background / container management
  • Grafana or Elastic Search- for observability
  • Desirable: experience with Open Telemetry and/or Argo
