Our client is looking for a Design Manager/Team Leader to head up their Mechanical Design department in Beccles.
Key Responsibilities of this Mechanical Design Team Leader:
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers in the development of mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks.
- Oversee design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and technical specifications.
- Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvements based on testing results.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Requirements of this Mechanical Design Team Leader position:
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
- Significant experience in the automation industry, with a track record of successful project leadership.
- Experience within the automation industry
