We're partnering with an innovative AI-driven startup in Paris that is transforming how content creators deliver advertising campaigns for global brands. Backed by significant growth and trusted by industry leaders, they are scaling rapidly and looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll work alongside the Staff Engineer and rest of the engineering team to design and build robust, scalable backend services. This is an opportunity to contribute significantly to the technical architecture while playing a key role in shaping a fast-paced, high-performance engineering culture.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate on architecting and building high-performing backend systems.
- Own milestones and drive delivery with a high-velocity, code-first mindset.
- Inspire and mentor teammates by promoting best coding practices and conducting code reviews.
- Solve complex technical challenges to build scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to the technical vision and long-term trajectory of backend services.
What They're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on Node.js.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Experience leading projects and delivering scalable, performant solutions.
- Rigorous, autonomous, and passionate about clean, sustainable code.
- Fluent in French and comfortable collaborating in English.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, or ElasticSearch.
- Exposure to hyper-growth startup environments.
The Process
- Technical interview with the CTO (video call).
- At-home technical test.
- Final interview with the co-founders (in person).

- Salary: €80k - €100k + BSPCE, tailored to your experience.
