March 4th marks the first day of National Careers Week 2019, and we are excited to have teamed up with University Technical College Norwich!
National Careers Week is all about promoting careers guidance across the UK and aims to support the younger generation leaving education as they transition into their first careers.
To celebrate National Careers Week, we have collaborated with UTCN, and began the week by addressing Year 13 during their assembly on job searching and will be returning throughout the course of the week to speak to Year 12 and Year 11 to provide advice and tips on CVs and interviewing.
During these visits, students will also have the chance to book 1-2-1 appointments with our Internal Recruiter, Melissa Porter, for more tailored and personalised advice.
Speaking about working with the students for National Careers Week, our Director Paul Kitley said: “We are delighted to be supporting the UTCN for National Careers Week and look forward to working with a diverse range of students across three age groups. These young people are our future and the leaders of tomorrow, and we are happy to be helping them prepare to take the first step in their careers.”
Principle for UTCN Alex Hayes also commented on our collaboration by saying: “‘We are very pleased to have TEC Partners working with our students on their CVs and interview skills. We are fortunate to have the support from employers such as TEC Partners and believe the work they do is invaluable to the students’ educational development.”
