Job Title: Senior IT Systems Engineer

In a role exclusive to TEC Partners, we are assisting our client in the search for a Senior IT Systems Engineer with extensive Windows, Linux or Mac administration experience. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join one the biggest names in online multiplayer gaming at their prestigious Cambridge studio.
The ideal candidate will possess the following technical skills and attributes:
Strong skills in all aspects of a Windows Server domains including configuration, management, troubleshooting of AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO etc.
Strong skills in managing and configuring Office365 & Exchange hybrid deployments.
Strong skills in technical documentation and communication.
Strong skills managing and configuring MacOS or Linux in corporate environments. Experience in JAMF a plus.
Strong skills configuring and managing Cloud Document Management solutions (Sharepoint, Box)
Strong skills configuring and managing Azure AD
Good experience managing Office 365 and associated cloud applications
Good experience managing and configuring: SCCM, SCOM, SQL.
Good experience managing and configuring virtualization infrastructure: VMware, Hyper V, VDI.
Good experience making network configuration changes: NAT, sub-netting, load balancing, VLANs, Radius, Firewall ACL etc.
Good scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) to enable things like self service portals and automation
Good experience using Enterprise Collaboration and Project Management tools like Atlassian, Slack, Zoom.
Good experience managing security solutions like MFA, Email Security Gateway, AV, EDR and DLP solutions.
Main duties include:
Install, configure and maintain all Corporate IT Infrastructure and supported Development Tools and Infrastructure.
Maintain and support all physical, virtual and cloud Corporate IT Infrastructure.
Architect and manage towards defined SLA’s on availability, resource and performance of Corp IT Infrastructure, Services and supported Development tools.
Diagnose, resolve and mitigate any problems and incidents affecting the infrastructure or availability of Corporate IT services.
Maintain, monitor and test System Backups / Restores
Maintain and implement all patch and release management for all software / OS’s. (Microsoft, Mac and third-party applications)
Provide out of hours ( on-call ) support for key Corporate IT infrastructure and services.
Plan, design, implement, document and communicate changes to current infrastructure and services or the deployment of new technologies, systems, applications or services.
Provide 3rd line support and assist with 1st/2nd line support escalations.
