Project Manager
£600 per day
Reading – (travel required to customer sites in the South)
6 months initially

We are in need of an experienced of a Project Manager with IT delivery experience within an IT services/consulting company.
You will need to have delivered customer facing projects as part of an external IT service, in the role of day to day project management including staffing, milestones, cost management, deliverables.
You will need to rely on your experience delivering complex, technical projects (ideally IT infrastructure, digital transformation or cyber security projects) and the unique challenges faced with these types of projects. Ideally you will have implemented Microsoft solutions, however a good breadth of technology knowledge is essential.
We need someone with Financial acumen, ability to understand financial set up, management, control and reporting of project engagements.
You will need experience in supporting contractual & commercial management and execution, understand the differences in approach between Fixed Fee, or Time & Materials.
Executive relationship management, proven engagement with CIO level before.
Passion for technology: experience in either infrastructure, cloud and security is essential
PMI PMP (or alike) Certified Project Manager essential
The role requires circa 80% travel to and from our customer sites. This can be up to full time at our customer sites. Likely to be based in the South, or South East of England, however flexibility to travel across the UK is necessary.
