Working within their optical division you will be:

Dealing with the construction of free space experimental setups on optical tables.
*
Assisting researchers with the design and layout of free space optical experiments.
*
Running experiments, logging results and monitoring equipment
*
Investigate specification of optical components and lead procurement and inventory management.
*
Experience with spatial light modulators.
*
Familiar with basic optical design concepts and theory required.
*
Ability to automate lab measurements, scripting knowledge in Python, and some rudiments of statistical analysis.
You will have understanding of the job in the following areas:
*
Familiar with basic optical design concepts and theory required.
* Experience in an optics lab environment.
*
Able to safely conduct experiments with high-power visible and invisible laser radiation
