I am seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field-Based Engineer for our client based Cambridge. This is a field-based position where the majority of work will be carried out in Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and North London.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Happy to be field based where you are always on the move
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- Comfortable working at heights
- ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
- Proven experience in Fire & Security system installations (e.g., intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, or fire alarms) or transferable skills from roles such as Gate Automation Engineer or Electrician.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain Fire & Security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire alarms.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, maintaining high standards of work.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of systems where required.
- Collaborate with a knowledgeable team to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Working hours:
- 40 hour weeks
- Monday to Friday but there will be weekend work involved which you will receive additional pay for
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of £30,000 - £40,000, with an OTE between £43,000 and £48,000.
