Our client are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team near Wroxham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults in machinery, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
- Supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Responding promptly to breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within manufacturing, production, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Competency in diagnosing faults in PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
Working hours:
Alternate Shift Rota
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Tuesday - Saturday
- Hours vary from 7am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm
