About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist to join our R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of cutting-edge chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies. You will be a driving force in advancing our technology, supporting our R&D efforts, and ensuring our products continue to meet the evolving needs of customers in the lab instruments market.
As a Senior Scientist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead R&D projects, and foster strategic partnerships to push the boundaries of innovation in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support R&D projects focused on chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies, from concept through to commercialization.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, etc.) and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct detailed experiments, data analysis, and product evaluations to optimize performance and innovation.
- Align product development efforts with customer needs and market demands, ensuring a competitive edge in the laboratory technology market.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and methodologies to drive product improvements and advancements.
- Provide expert advice and support to the R&D team and stakeholders on scientific challenges and technical direction.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic R&D decisions.
- Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in chemistry instruments, laboratory technologies, and product development.
- Strong background in leading and managing R&D projects in a scientific environment.
- Solid understanding of customer-driven product development, including aligning technology with market needs.
- Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and experimental design skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience in intellectual property development and protection is a plus.
