About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist to join our R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of cutting-edge chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies. You will be a driving force in advancing our technology, supporting our R&D efforts, and ensuring our products continue to meet the evolving needs of customers in the lab instruments market.

As a Senior Scientist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead R&D projects, and foster strategic partnerships to push the boundaries of innovation in the field.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support R&D projects focused on chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies, from concept through to commercialization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, etc.) and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct detailed experiments, data analysis, and product evaluations to optimize performance and innovation.
  • Align product development efforts with customer needs and market demands, ensuring a competitive edge in the laboratory technology market.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and methodologies to drive product improvements and advancements.
  • Provide expert advice and support to the R&D team and stakeholders on scientific challenges and technical direction.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic R&D decisions.
  • Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in chemistry instruments, laboratory technologies, and product development.
  • Strong background in leading and managing R&D projects in a scientific environment.
  • Solid understanding of customer-driven product development, including aligning technology with market needs.
  • Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and experimental design skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience in intellectual property development and protection is a plus.
