About this Senior Python Engineer role

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be a leading voice within the software development team, contributing to innovative projects and providing guidance and mentorship to more junior developers. Working in collaboration with different departments, you will be involved in projects leading the way in biotech software development for our client.

What is expected of you as a Senior Python Engineer with our client?

  • Ideally, you will hold a Masters in Computer Science or a related field
  • Have a minimum of 5+ years experience in Software development using Python
  • Familiarity using CUDA is highly desirable
  • Experience using Django and/or Flask
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Familiarity with other software languages preferential

Responsibilities of a Senior Python Engineer with our client

  • Adopting a collaborative work style with other relevant departments (internal and external)
  • Designing and maintaining front and back-end components of web applications
  • Troubleshoot and solve defects and bugs within software
  • Review code and implement a standard of which to assess written code
  • Ensure encryption and cybersecurity protocols are adhered to at all times
