I am hiring a Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator to join our client on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at their Great Yarmouth facility, you will play a vital role in managing all aspects of shipping and logistics. From ensuring compliance with customs regulations to coordinating cost-effective and timely shipments, your expertise will drive efficient global operations.

Key Responsibilities of this Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator:

  • Create despatch notes, import/export commercial invoices, and cargo summary tickets.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for quotations and facilitate efficient worldwide equipment shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements for imports and exports.
  • Maintain accurate logistical files, satisfying audit requirements.
  • Provide expert logistical advice to colleagues across global sites.
  • Validate freight invoices and manage documentation to meet record-keeping standards.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota and support additional company locations as needed.
  • Create purchase orders for freight invoices and assist with internal import/export audits.

Experience needed for this Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator position:

  • A minimum of 6 standard grades (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • Expertise in export license control, Customs Procedure Codes, and goods classification.
  • Solid knowledge of INCOTERMS, IPR, RGR, and hazardous material handling (IATA & IMDG).
  • Proven experience in international logistics, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
