About the Role:

Are you an Azure DevOps expert with strong C# development experience and a passion for optimising CI/CD pipelines? We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Expert to join our team, focusing on continuous integration and delivery systems with TeamCity, while bringing a deep understanding of C# development practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising our Azure infrastructure and DevOps processes. You'll lead the development of efficient, secure CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth releases and seamless collaboration across teams. Additionally, your C# development skills will help you better understand and integrate the development processes with the DevOps pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure DevOps pipelines, with a strong focus on TeamCity for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate C# application builds into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring streamlined and reliable deployments.
  • Optimise TeamCity pipelines for fast, dependable builds, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Implement best practices for continuous integration and automated testing within Azure environments, ensuring development efficiency and system reliability.
  • Ensure robust security practices within the CI/CD pipelines, maintaining compliance and secure configurations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and rapid issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to continuously enhance CI/CD processes and tools.

About You:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and expertise in Azure DevOps services.
  • Strong experience with TeamCity for CI/CD pipeline management and optimisation.
  • Proficient in C# development, with the ability to integrate build processes into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in automating infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices, automated testing, and version control (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex pipeline and deployment issues.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for CI/CD and Azure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with additional CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and how they interact with Azure.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor for ensuring pipeline performance.
