As an Electrical Design Engineer, your duties will include:
- Design of safety systems.
- Detailed design of electrical cabinets.
- Responsible for originating all electrical drawings.
- Responsible for originating all pneumatics drawings.
- Actively participate in build and run up testing of machines.
- Support build and commissioning teams with electrical fault diagnosis.
- Assist controls engineer on commissioning activities.
- Responsible for electrical safety, electrical risk assessments and standards compliance.
- Origination of electrical BOMS
To be considered for the Commissioning Engineer role, you must have:
- 5 years minimum experience in designing machine electrical systems from start to finish
- Experience using SolidWorks would be an advantage
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety would be ideal
- Knowledge of different motor drive technologies such as DC, Stepper and AC Motors
- Excellent communication skills
