Blue Monday, dull sky and silhouette of a man looking at the horizon

If you woke up this morning dreading going into work, you’re not alone, as today is better known as “Blue Monday”, the dullest day of the year.

Blue Monday first came about in 2005 when holiday company Sky Travel calculated the date using an equation to work out when people feel the most down. Factors that are taken into account are: weather, level of debt (especially as some still haven’t been paid since before Christmas), the amount of time since Christmas, how long it’s been since we failed our New Year’s resolutions, and low motivational levels.

But if you find that it is your job that is getting you down this Blue Monday, fear not, as we have a wide range of exciting new permanent and contract opportunities within the Engineering and IT industries that will be sure to put a smile on your face!
